English football is one of the most renown of all particularly when it comes to the amount of high class players playing in the Premier League. Each season the 20 teams play 38 games which involves playing against each other both home and away. This gives way for a great opportunity to wage a few bets and earn yourself a little extra cash.

There are so many sports’ betting sites available on the Internet each offering all the main soccer tournaments and football fixtures upon which you can place a bet. You can bet on literally anything from who you think will finish top of the league to who will be voted player of the season. It’s all about making money and having fun in the process.

The Premiership League is without doubt the one to watch and even towards the very end of the season there is always room for the favourite to be knocked off top. Bets are formed and odds are stacked on who the bookies predict will be the seasons’ title winner. The opportunity to place a bet and back the winner couldn’t be made easier.

Most online sports’ betting sites will provide information relevant to the season’s progress and details of injuries, absentees and new signings are made available in order to help you decide on who you want to back. Sign up is generally free and with some betting sites you can even receive regular updates via email. A good idea is to check out various sports’ betting sites and look out for the ones that offer free bets. These are well worth taking advantage of especially since you are in will an equal chance of winning the bet. Of course there are terms and conditions which you must follow in order to claim or make use of any bonus bets or introductory offers.

The 2010 World Cup in South Africa is already sparking interest in online betting. More and more people are checking out the odds and preparing to place a wager on the nation they predict will take home the glorious World Cup title. With all 32 teams now qualified and selected into the eight first round groups the odds have once again been revised to influence bets and establish a clear prediction of the winning finalist.

It comes as no great surprise that Brazil, already five times World Cup winners are backed as the favourites with Spain, Germany and England following behind. But now that each seeded nation has its first opponents picked out there is even more speculation circulating over who will make it through to the second round.

Soccer is without doubt the most popular sport on a global scale and the World Cup is the biggest sporting event watch around the world literally by millions. Online betting sites are already offering free bets in an attempt to reel in punters and the range of bets is even more varied than ever.

Not only can you bet on the nation you think will win but also on the best goal, best player, most penalties scored or missed, worst foul, most red cards, biggest scandal and even worst decision by a referee. It is all about having fun and making money, particularly for the bookies and the 2010 World Cup looks set to be a lucrative money maker.

If you’re a sports enthusiast and fancy venturing into the world of sports betting, you can not only watch your favourite teams but also bet whether they’ll win, lose, or draw. That’s right, you don’t always bet on the winning team. You can even bet on the score of a game. There are lots of ways to place your sports bets, whether that be to bet on a soccer match, horses, dogs, or any other sport. If you’re new to sports betting you’ll first have to decide which type of bookie you feel most comfortable with as there are online and land-based bookies.

Betting online can be helpful for several reasons. One being that you can read up on how to properly place your bets and get an overall feel for the process. You’ll want to develop a strategy sooner rather than later. Another reason why betting online can help, is that most online bookies offer you a free cash bonus simply for signing up and depositing. You’ll also have the advantage of reading the odds on each game or sport. You can get this info in a land-based bookie as well but then you have to travel to the bookmakers whereas online you can do everything from home.

It is recommended to not bet large amounts if you’re new since you still need to get a feel for how it all works. But, once you start to earn some profit you can feel more confident laying larger bets on the line. Creating a betting system through studying the process and experience will help you win more often than lose.

So, have you decided to stay at home, go to the pub, or actually fly out to Johannesburg, South Africa for the June 2010 kick off of the World Cup? If you can secure a ticket to watch the matches then the next thing you’ll need to do is book your flight and organise your World Cup Hotels. It’s going to be easier to get a flight than a ticket to watch the games but when you are ready to book your flight, you ought to check out cheap deals to Johannesburg.

Most of the games will be played in Johannesburg. Because it’s a popular destination for international tourists, the city has a lot to offer its visitors. Ellis Park Stadium as well as Soccer City Stadium will be hosting many of the FIFA World Cup matches. These are big stadiums with the capacity to hold as many as 95,000 people.

Plane tickets to South Africa at the moment are quite affordable and there are a range of carriers offering some good deals. You’ll want to check out ticket prices from airlines such as Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, and even South African Airways. If you don’t find the price you’re looking for, you can go online and check flight ticket aggregator sites like cheapflights.co.uk.

At the moment, prices are ranging between £400 and £500 for economy class or if you want to fly in style, and can afford it, you can opt for Business Class which will cost you about 10 times the fare for economy. However you get to South Africa, it should be worth it as this World Cup promises to be an exciting one.

There will be people travelling from all ove r the world to watch the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Most of the games will take place in Johannesburg however, there are other cities that will host games as well, such as the beach resort city of Cape Town. If you’re lucky enough to make it to the live matches in South Africa, you’ll be preparing to see your favourite team do well or possibly even win. It will be an exciting time for football fans and if you’ve never been to South Africa, then you might go on a few sightseeing trips whilst you’re there.

For example, if you are going to watch any matches in Cape Town, why not head over to one of the most breath taking sights you’ll ever see, Table Mountain. What’s amazing about this flat topped mountain is that it spans almost 2 miles and on one side there’s the famous Devil’s Peak and on the other is Lion’s Head.

If travelling outside the city is not your cup of tea, there are cable cars that tourists can ride in and venture up the side of the mountain and enjoy a nice meal whilst overlooking the valley below. Try to mix in a day or two at the beach and enjoy some fun in the sun. This way you can recharge your batteries before getting amped up whilst watching the live World Cup action in South Africa next year.

This article is geared toward those who are new to what the English Premier League is and what it’s all about. The English Premier League is the professional football league of England. It began in the early 1990s and is also known as the Premiership. The League consists of 20 teams, also known as clubs, and they play 38 matches each throughout the season. August is the beginning of the season which ends in May the following year.

Barclays Bank, one of the largest in the UK, sponsors the Premier League which plays most of its games over the weekend with the occasional game played during the week. Ultimately, the English Premier League formed into the FA Premier League in 1992. Today, the Premier League is the most watched sporting league in the world. It is also the richest league with revenues soaring to nearly £2 billion between 2007 and 2008.

The Premier League is watched the world over for a very good reason, that English clubs rank very highly in European competitions, even ahead of Spain and Italy’s leagues. There have been many English football clubs that have competed in the Premier League but only 4 have actually taken home the title of champion. Among these teams are Manchester United, Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC and Blackburn Rovers.

Of these champions, Manchester United has the most wins with their 11th victory coming in the 2008-2009 season. Man United’s closest rival, Liverpool Football Club has never won the Premier League since its current formation in 1992.
